Hi Everyone ..
I wanted to share this email that I received from Ron White today…
I have learned the importance of using my journal since starting my success journey and at first I found it a bit difficult but like everything we start it takes dedicated commitment before we see the results..

Welcome!
While reading a history book recently, I came across Thomas Edison’s “Things to do” list for January 3, 1888. Here is a brief summary:
Things doing and to get done:
– Cotton picker
– New standard phonograph
– Hand-turning phonograph
– New slow-speed cheap dynamo
– New expansion pyromagnetic dynamo
– Deaf apparatus
– Electrical piano
– Long-distance standard telephone transmitter which employs device of recording phonograph
– Duplicating phono cylinder
These are just excerpts from five pages worth of “Things to do” in 1888. WOW! It makes my “Things to do” list look a little elementary!
Thomas Edison had over 3,500 notebooks with ideas and drawings! Here is a good lesson. When I was researching the life of Leonardo da Vinci a few years ago, I discovered that he also had stacks and stacks of journals with his thoughts in them. So did Albert Einstein!
Is this a coincidence? Is it a coincidence that Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison and Leonardo da Vinci, some of the greatest minds of all time, all wrote down their thoughts? NO! There is something about journaling that activates your brain and gets your subconscious thinking. It works! Jim Rohn taught this principle as well. If you don’t believe me, believe Edison, Einstein, da Vinci and Rohn!
I currently have 15 Jim Rohn Leadership Journals on my desk with my thoughts and ideas from the last four years. If you want to feel like a great thinker, get a journal and start putting the greatest computer ever created (your brain) to work brainstorming, planning and creating!

Finding your NORTH STAR

Hi Everyone…With my business being in the personal development industry I make sure that I use our Leadership home study course Beyond Freedom Evolution everyday. So what I have decided is to share some of my thoughts while I going through the course with you. THEY KNOW WHAT THEIR NORTH STAR IS

Your NORTH STAR isn’t a goal,accomplishment or destination. Your NORTH STAR is the guiding principle you abide by for the goals,accomplishments and destinations you choose to pursue.

It can be called your “words to live by” or “what you believe in “. It can by any of an infinite number of things being of service to others,living a life with no regrets,being a risk taker, being of influence to the lives of children,assisting those in need,being the best you can be,helping the elderly,connecting on a deep level with those around you,living peacefully in harmony with the planet,creating a green-friendly world..the list is endless.

There are many ways to take the path in the direction of your NORTH STAR. You can be of service to others in many different ways..feeding the homeless…tutoring high school kids…teaching those who can not read..house sitting for a friend…carpooling..blogging, contributing your time and money to a charity you support.

Finding your NORTH STAR is a wonderful thing. When you’ve chosen what your NORTH STAR is for you ,it can serve as a stable life principals as you make choices for what you wish to do with your time.

Most importantly, your NORTH STAR can become a major source of peace,happiness,satisfaction and purpose for your life. In many instances,finding your NORTH STAR can be a major life changing event.
It can provide meaningful direction for the rest of your life.

YOUR EXERCISE!!!!!

Sit down and work out what YOUR NORTH STAR IS…you can have more than one if that works for you..
Remember there is no right or wrong answer just the right one that works for you.

One of my NORTH STARS is to be an Inspiration to others and always strive to be the best me I can be.
